Dr. Robert Claflin:

Dr. Robert Claflin received his undergraduate education at Trinity College in Hartford then matriculated to the National College of Chiropractic to complete his post-graduate Doctor of Chiropractic(D.C.) degree program in 1982. Dr. Claflin continues to improve and update his professional knowledge by participating in ongoing educational programs and workshops. In 1996 he completed a diplomate program for the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists which provided advanced expertise in evaluation and treatment of injuries related to athletics and training automobile accidents falls and work-related injuries. He is an active member of the Connecticut Chiropractic Association. He was president of the West Hartford Rotary Club in 2000-01 and has been a member since 1983.

 

Dr. Paul Szwez

Dr. Paul Szwez is a well-established and respected Chiropractor who has practiced in Coventry since 1987. Several years ago, Dr. Szwez joined Center Chiropractic. He grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Hall High School. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Biology, Dr. Szwez received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has continued to study intensively with post-graduate education courses around the country. He utilizes many different types of chiropractic spinal techniques, exercise, and nutrition in practice.


Dr. Steven Oberle:

Dr. Steven Oberle has been practicing since 1999, when he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. He completed his Master’s degree in Nutrition in 2005. Dr. Oberle has a holistic approach to chiropractic care, looking at the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction, and using complimentary treatments, such as nutrition and manual adjusting, to help his patients heal and maintain excellent health in a natural way. He utilizes Diversified and Cox chiropractic techniques, among others. He teaches rehab exercises as an important component of spinal health. Dr. Oberle is presently enrolled in a post-graduate neurology program focused on childhood development disorders, such as ADHD, dyslexia, and the autistic spectrum.

Dr. Oberle started the Back Safety Institute in 2009, after a Fortune 500 company approached him to develop a lifting and stretching program. Prevention and exercise training are a natural extension of his practice. Dr. Oberle provides industrial and corporate safe lifting and exercise training for companies to help decrease the high costs associated with low back injury.

  • Dr. Oberle graduated from the University Of Bridgeport College Of Chiropractic in Bridgeport Connecticut. Dr. Oberle also graduated from the University of Bridgeport Nutrition Institute.
